Noordsche Veld

Norg, Netherlands

Natuurplaats Noordsche Veld in Norg is a unique nature-inclusive project by MNNR Architects, realized for Staatsbosbeheer and De Natuurplaats as a gateway to the nature reserve of the same name. The ensemble consists of three pavilions recessed into the landscape — an information point, a management office, and a residence — constructed from CLT and inspired by the evolution of the local farmhouse archetype. Studio de Nooyer photographed this sustainable project in Drenthe, focusing on the exceptional fusion of building and nature, the use of timber, and the landscape integration. A fine example of architectural photography of an energy-neutral and nature-inclusive building in a rural setting.
