From our base in Amsterdam, we photograph architecture throughout the city and beyond. We always approach this from various scales. For instance, we capture the project within its context as well as the building in full view. Additionally, details of the facades and the use of materials are compelling elements to showcase.

How we photograph architecture
Photographing architecture “as it is” is often the starting point. In doing so, the photographer adopts a supportive role to provide an accurate record of the building. We photograph with minimal distortion and avoid extreme wide-angle lenses to ensure the image appears natural. For perspective correction, we utilize Tilt-Shift lenses so that a building always appears “straight” in the photograph.
We enjoy capturing the building’s users. This quickly clarifies the scale of a project. We also like to include people in the frame to demonstrate how the building—and the surrounding space—is utilized.
We also specialize in evening shots, where we can provide additional lighting for (elements of) the exterior. This allows us to quickly visualize what the photograph is truly about—for example, a beautiful brick wall or the unique use of materials. Post-processing of photographs
After the photo shoot, we begin the image processing of the captured photographs. This post-processing takes place on large, color-calibrated monitors. This allows us to clearly see all details and colors. Following color corrections, the materials used are shown as they actually appear on-site.
Unwanted elements, such as traffic signs and lamp posts, can also be retouched.
Once the photographs are ready, the client receives perfectly finished high-resolution images. These can be used in a small format on a website, but enlarging them to several meters is also no problem at all.
